Priscilla Beccari Video

Priscilla Beccari Portrait

Priscilla Beccari’s practice unfolds through a shifting constellation of images and forms that explore the body, domestic space, and unease. Centered on drawing yet extending beyond it, her work combines eroticism, absurdity, fear, and feminist undertones to create unsettling narratives where flesh, animality, and everyday interiors collide. Influenced by surrealism and artists such as Louise Bourgeois and Kiki Smith, Beccari depicts mutated, vulnerable, and often sexualized bodies that merge with kitchens, bedrooms, and walls, transforming familiar spaces into claustrophobic, cannibalistic environments. Through large-scale drawings, monotypes, and a symbolic bestiary of hybrid figures, her work immerses the viewer in liminal worlds where intimacy, violence, and dark irony coexist, inviting both fascination and discomfort.
